On February 28th, the California Department of Public Health announced that they would be lifting their universal indoor masking requirement for both vaccinated and unvaccinated people effective March 1st, 2022. On February 9th, Contra Costa Health Services announced that they would be following state guidance, along with nine other Bay Area counties Including Contra Costa County.
On March 2nd, Superintendent Hurst announced Starting on Thursday, March 3rd, outdoor masking will no longer be required for WCCUSD students and employees. Students and employees are still required to wear masks indoors.
At XFit Training masks will become optional at both XFit Training facilities for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals with their COVID-19 vaccinations.
At XFit Training masks will become optional at both XFit Training facilities for outdoor activities BUT indoors, both participants and instructors will need to wear a mask.
You will continue to see masks in the gym:
Masks will still be worn by instructors when they are less than 6ft from you.
Masks will still be worn by those who feel more comfortable with it on.
Doors and windows will continue to remain open while classes are in session.
We know that some of you can't wait to take your masks off, and others aren't ready to remove them yet. We ask that you give each other your utmost respect in regards to mask preference.
